Mental health providers (i.e., psychologists, LPCs, LCSWs, LMFTs, psychiatrists and PMHNPs) who meet the following criteria are eligible to join the DMV Therapists Directory:

• Hold an active license to practice in good standing (i.e., no current, pending and/or prior disciplinary actions);

• Be licensed at the independent level (i.e., able to practice without supervision);

  AND

• Have a registered and active business entity address (fully remote practices included!) in the DMV

While we respect that there are MANY opinions about what constitutes the DMV (and acknowledge the controversies surrounding its definition!), for the purposes of this directory, we’re staying within the Beltway :) So the DMV refers to, and includes, the following locations:

• District of Columbia

• Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties in MD

• Arlington and Fairfax Counties in VA

• Cities of Falls Church, Fairfax and Alexandria in VA
